Thorough & comprehensive, beginner friendly, Richard was great and, well, I think I showed up on the right day, the room was set for a group of four students but, we ended at two, me a beginner and another gentleman who was taking the NRA instructors course, I had two instructors and to top I shot with what I have on order, a 9 mm and, let's call him Instructor # 2 had other larger caliber guns which he was kind enough to let me shoot, so I got to empty out a coupe of .45 caliber magazines. From classroom instruction to range etiquette, I'm extremely thankful for all of the help from American Academy of Protective Training. I will be taking a rifle and a shotgun course in the near future, I felt comfortable and confident at the end of the day, but, it's just the start, I will continue to practice when possible and always safely. I would recommend American Academy of Protective training to anyone that doesn't have the time to take a classing have do it online.There site is very user friendly and you have the ability to work at your own pace.
